William “Blue” Preston Holland, age 82, passed away September 24, 2025. William was born on July 6, 1943 in Pell City, Alabama. He loved his country. He loved President Trump and he loved watching Fox News. At 82 years old, he loved texting and calling and googling different topics on his computer. He retired from Huntington Ingalls Ship Building as a crane operator, and his hobbies were working in his shop and tinkering with cars. He loved working on cars and he could fix anything on any car. He was a devout family man and loved his family more than anything in the world.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Milne Holland; son, Darren Nixon; parents, James "Preacher" Preston and Preza Lee “Boots” Holland; brother, James Phillip Holland.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Tammy Bolin and Terry Preston Holland, grandson, Blake Preston Holland; 2 great grandchildren; nephew, Dr. James Allan Holland; numerous other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Monday, September 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Larry Havard officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
