William "Billy Joe" Joseph Williams

The Graveside Service has been rescheduled for 2:30 pm Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Williams Family Cemetery. 

William “Billy Joe” Williams, 87, of Leakesville, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020. He loved to hunt, fish, and do anything outdoors; especially turkey hunting. After serving his nation in the United States Army, Mr. Williams built and operated Williams Hardware Store in Leakesville for many years. He loved to read, watch old westerns, and was a history buff. Mr. Williams had travelled to many different places and enjoyed seeing new things. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Terrell Williams; parents, Wick and Artress Williams; sister, Kay McInnis.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Clinton Dewayne Williams, Alma Liane Williams Courtney, William Melbourn Williams, and Deena Leigh Barnes; grandchildren, Mandy, Lori, Mel, Jr., Stacey, Kendra, Kayla, Olivia, Ashton, Adam, Jody, Cody, Tyler, and Taryn; 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
