William A. Smith

William A. Smith, age 75, passed away April 24, 2021. He was a member of Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church. He also greatly enjoyed working on old vehicles and hunting. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving father, Pawpaw, brother and friend to so many who will be dearly missed.                  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mandy Langley and Albert Lee “Ted” Smith; siblings, Earnest Snelgrove, Sr., Johnny Smith, Jerry Smith and Dean Breland.      

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Billy (Angie) Smith, Robby Smith and Lee Smith; siblings, Mary Katherine Taylor and Robert Franklin (Betty) Smith; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.                          

The Visitation for William Smith will be Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 PM with his grandsons, Dylan Smith and Taylor Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads United Methodist Cemetery.   Pallbearers include Jarren Smathers, Adam Smith, Kolten Smith, James McCraney, Christopher Smith and T. R. Miller.
