William Lee McDaniel, age 86, passed away on January 19, 2026. He spent many years as a shrimp boat captain and truly loved life on the water, finding peace and purpose while shrimping. William had a deep love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. In his younger years, he stayed active and found joy in gardening and working outdoors. He will be remembered for his love of family, music, and the simple pleasures of life.
