Wayne Johnston

Wayne Johnston, age 52, passed away April 5, 2022. He was a member of the Church of Christ and spent time attending at Lucedale and Hurley. He also worked for many years at Lucedale Appliance. His favorite past-time was playing World of Tanks, walking the natural trail and visiting the Battle Ship in Mobile. He was a huge history-buff and loved watching documentaries and War Movies. He was a loving father and dear friend who will be greatly missed.       

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. Rutherford and Jennie Rutherford; mother, Bonnie Elaine Rutherford; dear friend, James Davis.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jennie Johnston, Chris (Tiare) Johnston and Michael (April) Terry; Numerous other relatives and friends including close friends, Wayne Chenault, Kevin Bess, Robert Gainey, Sommer Shepherd, Krysty Mizell and Tina Smith.   

The Memorial Service for Wayne Johnston will be held at a later date.
