Tracey Michele Snelgrove, age 46, passed away on April 23, 2026. Tracey was born in Mobile, Alabama on July 3rd, 1979. She was raised in Lucedale, Mississippi where she graduated high school. She earned two Associates degrees to which she used towards her devoted career at Edward Jones Investments as a Branch Office Administrator. Apart from her career, Tracey spent her evenings on her farm with her husband of twenty-three years, Roy Snelgrove. She enjoyed a life of faith and fellowship where she attended Journey Community Church. To her grandchildren, she was Gigi and to her, they were her heart. She was deeply passionate about helping others, that she would open up her house to anyone in need. Tracey, a daughter, mother, grandmother and wife will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Noah Elijah Weaver; mother-in-law, Penny Hood; aunts, Alberta Boykin, Jurlean Cooper, and Cora Jean Dickerson; uncle, TC Seals; paternal grandfather, Jesse L Crabtree; maternal grandparents, Drucella Seals Parker and Alonzo Seals.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Roy Snelgrove, Jr.; daughters, Kayla (Quinton) Oldfather and Zoe (Logan) McKissack; grandchildren, Louella, Marla, Brinley, Maverick, Chance, Willow, Kam, Grayson, Ariyah, Robert Jr, and Ava; parents, Darwin and Teresa Crabtree; stepsons, Kalyb Snelgrove (Sydney) and Robert (Sammi) Snelgrove; grandmother, Peggy Hood; brothers, Lance (Shaska) Crabtree and Derrick Crabtree; father-in-law, Roy Snelgrove, Sr.; sister-in-law, Kimberly Snelgrove; numerous other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Monday, April 27, 2026 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Barry Jemison officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Garden Cemetery. Pallbearers include Kalyb Snelgrove, Robert Snelgrove, Quinton Oldfather, Kellum Fairley, Logan McKissack, LaQuinton Ingram, and Lance Crabtree.
