Tommy Thompson

Tommy Thompson, age 86, passed away July 8, 2021. He was a Supervisor Ironworker for over 30 years. He was proud of his work and was part of working on some of the tallest phone towers in the United States. He was a devoted husband and wonderful father. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.              

He is preceded in death by his son, T. M. Thompson, Jr.; parents, Cody Etsel and Mary Wertie Ferguson Thompson; siblings, Coty Edsel Thompson, W. Z. “Bobby” Thompson, W. R. Thomspon, Buford Thompson, Rogers Thompson, Sam Thompson, Coty “Bill” Thompson, Joe “John” Thompson and E. M. “Boney” Thompson.     

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lyn Thompson; Step-son, Steve (Catherine) Lewis; Grandchildren, Steven Alexander Lewis and Jeffery Allen Lewis; sister, Voncille Sadka; dear nieces, Tina Thomspon and Suzanne (Drew) Thompson; numerous other relatives and friends.                   

The family will host a Memorial Service at a later date.
