Timothy Lee Arrington

Timothy Lee Arrington, age 64, passed away September 5, 2025 at his home in Lucedale, Mississippi, surrounded by his loving wife and children. Tim was born on April 19, 1961 in Birmingham, Alabama to Homer Arrington and Ann Schulte.  He grew up near Perote, Alabama before moving to Lucedale, Mississippi in 1972.  On March 12, 1988 he was united in marriage to Rhonda Lynn Evans.

He was known for his love of God and people.  He enjoyed motorcycle rides with his wife and mining gems in Franklin, North Carolina.  He shared the love of Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship, and outreach.  He was most recently the pastor of Sims Chapel Community Church.                     

He is preceded in death by his father, Homer Lee (Mary) Arrington; mother, Ann (Fred) Schulte; best friend, Hawk Richard.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Rhonda Arrington; children, Lia (Matt) Carlson, Corrie (James) Eubanks, and Dalton (Shelby) Arrington; grandchildren, Owen, Lola, Maebelle, and Corbin Eubanks, Magnolia and August Carlson, and Jackson Arrington; sisters, Sherri Swilley and Brenda Sherman; mother-in-love, Juanita Evans; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Visitation will be Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Family Life Fellowship. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Dean Smith and Bro. Tyler White officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers include Dalton Arrington, James Eubanks, Austin Bosarge, Lloyd Brunty, Wendell Pruitt, and Barry Williams. Honorary Bearers will include Blake Gandy, Rick Hoover, and Jimmy Eubanks.
