Teddy Davis

Teddy “Dago” Davis, age 73, passed away November 29, 2020. A native of George County, he lived in Greene County most of his life. He was a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and spoiling the community children. He was a loving husband, father, Pawpaw Dago, brother and true friend. He will be deeply missed.        

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Heathie Davis; siblings, David McRae, Paul Gary Davis, Danny Ray Davis, Brenda Kaye Davis, Linda Faye Brown and Shannon Ray Davis.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 53 years, Ann Davis; children, Penney Renee Green, Teddy Shawn “Shonney” Davis and Elishia Musgrove; grandchildren, Chasidy Jones, Clayton Green, Ryan Green, Ashton Davis, Dana Davis and Taylor Davis; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, twin brother, Terry Davis, Peggy Davis and Jan Stevens; numerous other relatives and friends.                         

The Visitation for Dago Davis will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. Tim Martin and Bro. Jourdon Colburn officiating. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery. Pallbearers includes Samuel Dye, Rickey Cochran, Stephen Huff, Josh Csaszar, Keith Cochran, Wes Jones and Tagg Creech.
