Sadie Marie Morrison

Sadie Marie Morrison, age 87, passed away January 5, 2022. She was a faithful member of Hurley Baptist Church for over 40 years. She loved to fish and spend time with her grandchildren. She also greatly enjoyed birdwatching, camping and vacationing in the Great Smokey Mountains. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert David Chapman, Sr and Lillian Chapman; sister, Mae Laggy; brothers, Robert Brady, Robert D. “Chappy” Chapman, Jr. and Raymond Chapman.   

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Albert “Speedy” Morrison, Sr.; daughters, Deborah (Gene) Roberts, Dianne (Greg) Byrd and Donna (Ricky) Vice; son, Albert “Sonny” Morrison, Jr.;                 

The Visitation for Sadie Morrison will be Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Hurley Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 12:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Lance Sudduth officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Lane Scott, Chandler Scott, Avery Scott, Brady Scott, Kyler Barfield, Jonah Morrison and Dalton Morrison.
