Ruth Ann Yates, age 79, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026.           

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Yates; son, Larry Yates; daughter, Shirley Lane Yates; grandsons, Cody Rogers and RD Curtis; siblings, Tommy Mason and Patrica Marshall; son-in-law, Leroy Rogers;

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Edwin (Debbie) Yates, David Yates, and Frances Rogers; grandchildren, Jim, Patricia, Judy, Lisa, Monica, Suzie, Melisa, Dustin, John John; brother, Earl Mason; numerous great grandchildren numerous other relatives and friends.    

The Graveside Service will be Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Shady Grove Cemetery beginning at 2:00 PM.
