Roy C. Silcox

Mr. Roy C. Silcox, age 74, passed away September 29, 2021. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. He loved his family and loved to fish. Above all, he loved the Lord.  

He is preceded in death by his parents Roy Silcox, SR and Ouida Daniels Silcox; brothers, Clyde Silcox and Cecil Silcox; sisters, Ruth Lewis, Emily Grimmes and Judy Silcox Richard; grandchildren, Timothy Silcox and Zachary Silcox.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 43 years, Dail Silcox; children, Theresa Silcox, Pam (Donald) King, Ricky (Amanda) Moody, Dennis (Ryan) Moody and Daniel Silcox; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; brother, Quinnin (Rebecca) Silcox; numerous other relatives and friends.               

The Visitation for Roy Silcox will be Saturday, October 2, 2021 at First Pentecostal Church of McLain from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The Funeral Service will follow in the church sanctuary beginning at 11:00 AM with Bro. Dan Clark and Bro. Rutland officiating. Burial will follow in Dennis Dearman Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jonathan Eubanks, Jeremy Eubanks, Donald King, III, Thomas King, Marcus King and Christopher Brooks.
