Robert "Red" Earl Yates

Robert “Red” Earl Yates, age 76, passed away July 2, 2025. He loved to drive the gator down to the pond and go fishing. He also loved to pick fun at his loving family whom will miss him very much.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Richardson; father, Winford Yates; brothers, Willie Yates, Donnie Yates, Leroy Yates, Joe Woodward, and Burt Dodd; sisters, Rita Ebarb.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved companion, Baby Girl; brother, Bruce (Shelia) Woodward; sister, Diane (Charles) Pierce; nieces, Mary Ashley (Wayne) Saranthus, Rebecca (David) Gibson, and Renea (Mitchell) Holifield; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Graveside Service will be Tuesday July 8, 2025 at 11 AM at Wilmer Cemetery with Bro. Caleb Howell and Bro. Nathan Powell officiating. Pallbearers will include, Andrew Stokley, Joey Stokley, Tyler Saranthus, Judson Trussell, Dustin Woodward, and Cody Wright. The family invites all friends and family to Howell Baptist Church following services for a repast.
