Robert Lawrence Nouwen Sr.

Robert Lawrence Nouwen Sr., passed away on September 23, 2024. He was 93. Robert was a resident of Lucedale, and a native of Mobile, Alabama. He was a Veteran of the U.S Army and the Army Reserves.             

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marquerite Abreo Nouwen; parents, John Nouwen Sr. and Pearl Pujeant Nouwen; brother, John Nouwen Jr.; and others.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Robert (Lynn) Nouwen Jr., Christopher (Mollie) Nouwen, Catherine (Brian) Tindall; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Ann Pearl Amlong; and many others. 

A private funeral service will be held at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Marascalco officiating. Burial will follow in New Catholic cemetery in Mobile, Alabama.
