Richard Wilson, Sr.

Richard Leon Wilson Sr. passed away July 27, 2021 at the age of 87. He enjoyed the great outdoors, especially fishing and gardening.

He is preceded in death by his wife; Evelyn Davis Wilson; parents, Horace and Bertha Cook Wilson; sister, Pauline Wilson Whitehead; brother, C. Arleigh Wilson; step-children; Joseph Paul Head and Veronica Head Brister.

Those left to cherish his memory include his Sons, Charles (Rachel) Wilson of Laurel, MS., Allan Wilson of Oklahoma City, OK., Richard Leon Wilson II of Leakesville, MS., Tony Davis Wilson of Jackson, MS.; Daughters, Tina Wilson and Loretta Romeo, both of Jacksonville, FL.; step-son, Matt (Annette) Head of Sacramento, CA.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and  friends.  

A graveside service for Mr. Wilson will be Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at McLeod-Magnolia Cemetery with Bro. Grant McLain officiating.
