Obituary

Richard Carter, age 77, went home to be with His Lord on May 10, 2022. He was a faithful member of New Hope Assembly of God. He loved the Lord, his family and church. He was a member of UA Local 568 Plumbers and Pipefitters for over 50 years.  He was a devoted husband and son, A loving father, Papa, brother, uncle and dear friend. He will be greatly missed.             

He is preceded in death by his wife, Judith Carter; grandson, Collin Carter; mother, Ina L. Butler; uncle, Bobby Carter.     

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Devere (Donna) Carter, Harriet (Ty) Gollott and Brian Carter; grandchildren, Joshua (Kayla) Carter, Amber (Javvin) Davis, Christopher Scott, Matthew Scott, Ariel (Kyle) Coubert, Hagen Carter and Salinas Marble; great grandchildren, Elijah and Gracie Carter, Tucker and Sawyer Davis, Lincoln and Landry Scott, Allen Charlton, Luke and Skyler Coubert, Casen and Coplen Carter; siblings, James (Mattie) Carter, Brenda Milam and Connie Dubose; numerous other relatives and friends.                    

The Visitation for Richard Carter will be Monday, May 16, 2022 at Moments Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Magnolia Springs Cemetery.
