Reginald Scott Thomas, II, passed away on December 30, 2025. He was a 2011 graduate of East Central High School and later proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Through perseverance and determination, He earned his Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification, a goal he worked hard to achieve.
He faced many challenges throughout his life, but he never allowed them to define him. Instead, he rose above them, pushing himself to become a better man and ultimately building a life he was proud of. He truly “made it.” He was always encouraging others, believing in them even when they struggled to believe in themselves. He was a constant fan, cheerleader, and supporter to everyone fortunate enough to know him, and his love and positivity will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Yvette McInnis Thomas; maternal grandparents, Lana Scott McInnis and LC McInnis, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Dalphenia Dunn and Andrew Dunn; aunt, Lea McInnis Stringer.
Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Reginald Scott Thomas, I; sister, Jessica Drake (Wesley) Holland; niece, Lana Catherine Holland; cousins, Hillary Stringer, Laila Stringer, and Hagen Carter; numerous other relatives and close friends.
