Raymond Gray Dungan

Raymond Gray Dungan, age 72, passed away December 13, 2025. He enjoyed working in his shop and riding his grandkids around on the putt-putt.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be dearly missed.          

He is preceded in death by his parents, W. G. and Virginia Dungan; granddaughter, Jaden B. Pierce; brother, Robert Dungan; parents-in-law, Hoppy and Vernette Colburn; brother-in-law, Michael “Dee” Colburn.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brenda Dungan; sons, Coley (April) Dungan, Jonathan (Nikki) Dungan and Patrick (Melissa) Dungan; daughter, Victoria Fairley; loved like a daughter, Laken Pierce; brother, William (Donna) Dungan; sisters, June (Mike) Mathis, Francis (Woody) Dickerson, Mary Fortenberry and Betty Williams; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

The Visitation will be Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 17, 2025 in the funeral home chapel beginning at 1:00 PM with Bro. Phillip McKissick and Bro. Sean Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will include, Andrew Dungan, Rowdy Fairley, Grayson Dungan, Shelton McKissick, Chad Williams, Justin Keel, Colton Keel and Dustin Hennis.
