Ralph Nayland Brown, age 88, passed away April 5, 2025. He proudly served in the United States Navy, after two tours in Vietnam, and 22 years of service, he retired as Lt. Commander on June 30, 1977.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ann Brown; son, Roland Kyle Brown; parents, Grady C. and Evelyn Stringer Brown; siblings, Wayne Brown, and Harold Brown.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife; Joyce Davis Brown; daughters, Sandra Zumbro, Karen Brown, and Glenda Wright; grandchildren, Lillie Megan Maximo, Sean Wright, and Sarah Yankech; great grandchildren, Felix Maximo and Joaquim Maximo; step-children, William Davis, Karen Fili, Judith Palmertree, Carla Shows, Connie Hilbun, and Ben Steele; siblings, Sylvia Counselman, E. B. Brown, and Marilyn Bounds; numerous other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Moments Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Eddie Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in CF Ward Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Pallbearers include David Counselman, Darren Brown, Richard Fili, William Davis, Sarah Yankech, and Sean Wright.
