Pozzie Cowart

Pozzie Cowart, age 70, passed away April 25, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Tina Thidodeaux; parents, Pozzie Harvey Cowart and Marie Evelyn Pierce; siblings, Randy Eugine Rester, James Avery Cowart, Jean Cowart, Clarence Cowart, and Kay Averea.    

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Melinda Dickerson, Pozzie Cowart Jr, Marie Collum, Amanda Bear, Marina Whisenhunt, Michael (Sabrina) Corley, and Avery Cowart; grandchildren, Lacey (Brandon) Carter, Angel Lindsey, Taylar Holland (Corey Autrey), Dalton Cowart (Megan Tanner), Crystal Wilson, Penny Wilson, Cody Wilson, Dusty Corley, Micheala Corley, Haley Whisenhunt, and Harley Whisenhunt; great grandchildren, Braden Carter, Ryder Carter, Jansyn Bradley, Amberlyn Bradley, Cole Autrey, Jonathan Cowart, Raleighan Cowart, Reagan Cowart, Chandler Tanner, Savannah Tanner, and Makayla Tanner; sister, Mary; numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
