Peggy Charlene Tanner

Peggy Charlene Tanner went home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2021. She was 68 years of age. She was of the Assembly of God faith and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She greatly enjoyed traveling with her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed.            

She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodroe and Charlotte Butler; brother, Randy C. Butler.     

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Larry G. Tanner; daughters, Amy Butler Howard and Annie Chang; sister, Marcie (Mike) Kennedy; step-daughter, Wendy Tanner; Step-sons, Freddie Tanner and Alan Tanner; grandchildren, Tanner Howard, Jesse McClure, Hannah Tanner, Madison Tanner, Jack Lynn Tanner, Rose Tanner and Timberlynn Tanner; niece and nephew, Ella and Eli Kennedy who dearly loved their Pawpaw and Yaya; numerous other relatives and friends.                       

The Graveside for Peggy Tanner will be at Movella Missionary Baptist Church cemetery Sunday, February 21, 2021 beginning at 3:00 PM with Bro. Michael Pierce officiating. Pallbearers include Freddie Tanner, Alan Tanner, Jesse McClure, James Dearing, Johnny Dearing, Joe Dearing and Gene Tanner.
