Pauline (Rogers) Wall

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 7 at 5:00 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale, MS, for Pauline Rogers Wall, 102, who died on May 4.  Officiants will be Rev. Larry White and Rev. Kevin Trantham and her great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Ms. Wall, the daughter of Henry Wallace and Jane Doby Rogers, was born February 24, 1918 in Mize, MS.  She was the youngest child and last survivor of a family of eight girls and three boys.  She moved to Agricola in the summer of 1936 and was a member of the Agricola High School class of 1937.  Service to family, church and community was her hallmark and she spent a lifetime in volunteer work.  She was active in the Agricola Homemaker's Club, the Thursday Culture Club and was twice a founding member of the local hospital auxiliary.  Pauline was a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Declaration of Independence Chapter where she served as Chapter Regent and she was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church, Lucedale.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Wall (Sonny) Holland and one son, Benjamin Douglas (Doug) Wall, both of Lucedale;  one granddaughter, Lisa Bond McClure (Jim) Sudeiha of Mobile, AL;  two grandsons, Joel Micajah (Tina) Holland and James Keith (Ouida) Holland of Lucedale;  eight great grandchildren, Garrett Benjamin McClure, Garth Neal McClure, William Micajah Holland, Katherine Marie Holland (Jesse) Morrison, Elizabeth Carole Sudeiha, Mary Frances Holland, Harrison Keith Holland, and Victoria Lynn Sudeiha.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Benjamin Harrison (Bennie) Wall; daughter, Paula Carole Wall McClure; son-in-law, Harvie Bond McClure; grandson, Kevin Lynn McClure; parents and siblings.

The family suggests that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church, 5105 Main St., Lucedale, MS, 39452 or Pineview Missionary Baptist Church WMA, 110 Ward Pineview Rd., Lucedale, Ms. 39452.
