Patricia A. Gibson

Patricia A. Gibson, age 83, passed away July 29, 2024. She was a loving wife, momma, and mawmaw. She enjoyed being outside raising chickens, cows, dogs, and fishing. She was also a devoted member of Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church. She loved God, teaching Sunday school, and bringing others to church. She will be truly missed by all who were honored to know her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Gibson; parents, Cecil and Neva Lucille Anderson; grandsons, Anthony Paul Gibson and Christopher Eric Magers; granddaughter, Madeline Elizabeth Cameron; great-grandsons, Bentley Michael Gibson and Aiden Osborne;  brother, James Cecil Anderson; son-in-law, Spencer Lavelle Henderson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children Patricia (Phillip) Magers, David (Rebecca) Paul Gibson, Paula Kay Henderson, and Michael (Arlene) Cecil Gibson; 25 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 3 Great-great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Vondene (Rayford) Whatley; sisters-in-law, Pauline Cochran and Euleon Denman; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.        

The Visitation will be Friday, August 2, 2024 at Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The Funeral service will follow beginning at 2:00 PM in the church chapel with Bro. John Grimes and Bro. Skip Holland officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Gove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Cecil Cameron, Derek Gibson, Benji Gibson, Cole Gibson, Jordan McClelland, and Braxton McClelland.
