Patricia Dixon Obituary

Patricia (Pat) Dixon, age 70, resident of Wilmer, AL, born November 28,1953, went to her heavenly home, Monday, September 30, 2024.

Pat will be remembered by some as "The life of the party" but remembered by most as someone that took in the homeless, fed the hungry, and gave when she had nothing to give. Life was cut short, April 2004, when Pat’s quality of life was taken by a stroke. She now, has the glorified body she has prayed so many years for, congratulations mom.

With out a doubt, you heard him say “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ Matthew 25:21

Pat would want everyone to remember; Romans 3:23-24, which reads, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Jesus Christ.

Pat is preceded in death by her devoted husband, John Dixon; mother, Milbra W Kelly; father, Roland Lester Kelly; sister, Jane Turner; brothers, Carl Kelley, Wayne Kelly, Terry Kelly, Ray Kelly, Johnny Kelly; and her grandson, Justin Blackmon.

Pat is survived by her sister, Bobbie Davis; and her children, John Dixon (Ann), Leslie, the favorite, Dixon (Kimmy), James Dixon (Renee), and Beth Yell (Frankie); grandchildren, Tiffany, Stephanie, Daphani, Stephen, Matt, Timothy, Britney, Brianna, Josie, Chris, Dustin, Taco, Dalton, Megan, Melanie, Emily, John, and Kenneth; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, with one very special niece, Terri Walker.
