Pamela Blair Launey, a longtime resident of Patterson, was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the age of 74.

She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Michael Launey; one son, Shane Blair; and three grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Sharon, Monique, Debbie, and Larry. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger Tanguay and Sue Shinagawa Tanguay; her first husband, William Blair; and two brothers. 

The family requests that visitation be observed on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 3:00pm until time of dismissal at 5:00pm at Hargrave Funeral Home of Morgan City, Louisiana with a eulogy being held at 3:30 PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM until time of services which will begin at 11:00 AM at New Hope Baptist Church in Lucedale, Mississippi. Following services, Pamela will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
