Norman Cedric Howell

Norman Cedric Howell, age 82, passed away May 21, 2024. He was a member of Antioch Church in Benndale, enjoyed farming and raising livestock. He served this community for many years as a Board of Supervisor in Beat 5 and Justice Court Judge. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend.                   

He is preceded in death by his son, Allen Howell; parents, Millard Taft and Virgie Howell; siblings, Kenneth Howell and Carolyn Davis. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Dorothy Lee Goff Howell; daughter, Abby (Lloyd) Goff and son, Buddy (Kellie) Howell; grandchildren, Austin Howell, Chris Howell, and Nicole Wallace; great grandchildren, Jenna Wallace, Luke Wallace and Evelyn Howell; sisters, Bernice Mills, Glenda Faye Steede, Cindy Hodges, Becky Howell, and Lisa Cochran; numerous other relatives and friends.  

The Visitation will be Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Moments Funeral Home from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bobby Morris and Bro. Larry Havard officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Austin Howell, Chris Howell, Luke Wallace, Jonathan Wallace, Don Davis, Mike Steede, Heath Steede, and Wakey Mixon.
