Noel Miller

Noel “Collards” Raymond Miller, age 87, passed away October 3, 2023. Collards spent many years serving his country in the Army and after moving home to help family, began working as a driller on oil rigs. He enjoyed spending his free time outdoors with his hunting club.  Noel, or as he was called by his parents (a varmint), lived and spent all his available time on and in the Chickasawhay River and surrounding lakes.  He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathrine Beard Miller; parents, Ruby and Charles “Hoss” Miller; brothers, Charles Jr. and John Edward; Sisters, Geraldine “Jerry” Perry and Carolyn Walley.  Special friend and brother-in-law, Morris Greene.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Phyllis Greene, Sandra (Chatman) Walley, and Beverly (David) Allen; son, Nolan Ray Tillman; sister-in-law, Margret Miller; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Celebration of life will be Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Moments Funeral Home, Leakesville.
