Nicholas "Adam" Parker Obituary

Nicholas “Adam” Parker, age 42, passed away November 23, 2025. Adam enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He had many memories of camping out with his brother and cousins on Red Creek.  He loved his large family and group of friends.  Adam was a captain offshore where his many co-workers and his boss, Jude, were considered his extended family.  His latest memories included going out on the boat with his fur babies, Beau and Daisy, on Bluff Creek.  Adam will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alton Glenwood Parker; paternal grandparents, George Ralph and Hannelore Parker; maternal great-grandmother, Clara Louise (Thomas) Plylar; step-grandparents, Everette Henderson and Ruthie Mae Henderson, and Floyd and Grace Reynolds; paternal step-great grandparents, Sandy Ray and Joyce Pitts.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Ardelle (Scottie) Henderson; father, Mike (Sandra) Parker; siblings, Shilo (Mark Ingram) Pitts, Jake (Randa) Parker, Garrett Pitts, Jodie Henderson (Jeremiah Watters), Jackie McLeod, Phillip Henderson (Amanda Settle), Clay (Angelina) Parker, and Codie (Kiara) Henderson; maternal grandmother, Marion Daline Parker; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.   

The Visitation will be Friday, December 5, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home and Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Red Creek Union Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in Red Creek Union Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jake Parker, Codie Henderson, Garrett Pitts, Donald Henderson, Nealy Parker, and Brandon Parker. Honorary Pallbearers include Gary Parker, Dale Smith and Mark Skrmetta.

Following the service will be a fellowship dinner provided for everyone at the old Daisy Vestry Community Center, next door to Red Creek Union Baptist Church.
