Myra Marie Clark

Myra Marie Clark, age 88, passed away October 1, 2025. Marie was known for her hospitality, her ability to make everyone feel welcome in her home, and her dedication to her church and community. She took pride in her garden and delighted in sharing the fruits of her labor with her family. She had a gift for making gatherings feel special, filling her home with laughter, delicious food, and unconditional love.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Birl E. Clark; mother, Viola McLain Kitrell; father, Willie Kittrell; daughter-in-law, Carrol Clark; granddaughter, Juanita Morgan; siblings, Wilton Martin Kittrell, Hubert “Hamp” Kittrell, Willie “Junior” Kittrell, Jimmy “Bud” Kittrell; Vera Mae Kittrell, and Vera Rae Kittrell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Phillip Ray Clark, Lynetta Kay (Tony Doyle) Crager, Elton Lewis (Julie) Clark, Sandra ( David) West; 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; siblings, William Kittrell, Wesley Worth Kittrell, Robert Kittrell, Maxine Leverl Delancey, Mary Joyce Clark, and Mary Frances Rickard; numerous other relatives and friends. 

The Visitation will be Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Moments Funeral Home Leakesville from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM with the Funeral Service following at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Birl Clark Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Jeremy Doyle Crager, Richard Lewis Clark, Joseph Lane Clark, Thomas Beall. Jonathan Fillingane, and Braxton Crager. Johnny Allen will be an Honorary Bearer.
