Mira E. Butler, age 62, passed away peacefully July 22, 2021 surrounded by her family. She worked as a Caregiver for Glen Oaks and operated her own location, Agricola Assisted Living Facility. She worked for many years as a Firewatch and Tool Room Attendant for RMR. She was a loving matriarch who greatly enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne Butler; son, Wesley “Tink” Butler; parents, Andrew M. and Alma Davis Moore; siblings, Robert Moore, Ronnie Moore, Eugene Moore and Ira Ray Moore.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Tommy Earl Berry; children, Andy (Jennifer) Butler, Lesley “Punkin” (Steve, Jr.) Newburn; Brandi (Andy) Woodard, Tracy (Keith) Miller and Stacy (Melissa) Butler; grandchildren, Shawn (Julie) Butler, Morgan Grey, Shad Butler, Justin Butler, Kendal (AJ) Presley, Kaitlyn Newburn, Andrew Newburn, Hunter Newburn, Myra (Trae) Heathcock, Blane Butler, Payton Woodard, Haley Miller, Luke Miller, Brad Butler, Tia Jacobs and Kayle Jacobs; great grandchildren, Nolyn Grey, Cade Butler, Evelyn Butler, Paisley Newburn, Annaleigh Newburn, Emerie and Brystin Newburn and Raynlee Heathcock; siblings, Terry (Kim) Moore, Debra (William “Booboo”) Butler, Ricky (Dorothy) Moore, Sarah (late Danny Butler) Butler and Bill (Carol) Moore; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Shorty) Holley, Diane (Jeff) Davis, Shelia (Frankie) Davis and Darlene Berry; brother-in-law, Tony Berry; numerous other relatives and friends.
The Visitation for Mira Butler will be Monday, July 26, 2021 at Moments Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:00 AM with Bro. Larry Turner officiating. Burial will be in Butler Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include her grandsons, Andrew Newburn, Hunter Newburn, Blane Butler, Shad Butler, Justin Butler, Shawn Butler, Payton Woodard, Brad Butler and Luke Miller. Honorary pallbearers include Donnie Finch and Tommy Maker.
