Melba Jean Walley

Melba Jean Busby Walley, age 89, passed away peacefully in her home on May 27, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Murdoc Walley; parents, Lee and Annibelle Busby; grandson, Jeremy Walley; sister, Mary Ellen Green.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Donald (Rita) Walley and Phillip (Dottie) Walley; 5 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Norma Lee Westfaul and Ola Mae Ishee; brothers, Aubrey Busby and Dennis Busby; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Visitation for Melba Jean Walley will be Sunday, May 30, 2021 from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Cedar Grove Baptist Church. The Funeral Ceremony will be Monday, May 31, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Damon Westfaul officiating. Burial will follow in Walley Cemetery. Pallbearers include Quentin Walley, Phillip Walley, Morgan Pierce, Daulton Walley, Jacob McLeod and Matt McCoy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cory Walley and Aubrey McLeod.
