Mary Margaret Keel, age 80, passed away August 20, 2024. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Keel; granddaughter, Brittaney Keel; great grandson, Curtis Blake Lewis; daughter-in-law, Debra Keel; parents, Grover and Rena Dunagan; brothers, Freeman Dunagan, Raymond Dunagan, Cleveland (Becky) Dunagan, and Jerry Dunagan; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Dunagan.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Leon (Lisa) Keel, Jason Keel, Danita Keel Lewis, and Greg (Laurie) Keel; grandchildren, Blake Lewis, Myles Lewis, Candace (Bryon) Howell, Whitney (Ethan) Ivey, Cassie (Austin) Davis, Shelby (Dalton) Arrington, Jared Keel, Kelsey Keel, Hannah (Jason) Monson, Dalton (Amy) Keel, Kirsten (Nick) Whitley, and Danielle (Zack) Kent; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Roy Dunagan; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Dunagan (Bruce) Mathers and Bonnie Keel; ex-daughter-in-law, Carol Broome; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jamie Cochran and Bro. Tim Arrington officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include her nephews, Tony Keel, Darrell Keel, Adam Davis, Jimmie Davis, Richard Dunagan, and Don Holifield.
