Martha Dixon

Martha Dixon, age 84, passed away June 11, 2025. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Benndale where she held numerous titles. She was very involved in the worship, Bible School and other activities. She enjoyed to quilt and made many beautiful pieces that will be cherished for years to come. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and dear friend in the Benndale community who will be greatly missed.           

She is preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Dixon; parents, Coya and Merlee Eubanks Stringfellow; siblings, Emelie Dixon, Joseph Stringfellow, Colleen Campbell, and Norita Delgado.           

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kim (Phillip) Dickerson; grandchildren, Courtney (Hunter Buchannan) Dickerson, Alexis (Ben Williamson) Dickerson, and Raylan Dickerson; great grandson, Alex Dickerson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.    

The Visitation will be Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Benndale. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Nathan Seal officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joey Dixon, Earnest Dixon, John Dixon, Raylan Dickerson, Hunter Buchanan, and Ben Williamson.
