Marshall Hiram Havard

Marshall Hiram Havard, age 76, passed away July 30, 2025. He received his BS degree through the Apprenticeship program and worked over 40 years as an Electrical Engineer manager in shipbuilding. He loved his church and greatly enjoyed working on the farm, flying his plane, working his bees and time with his family. He was a faithful Christian, devoted husband, loving father, grandpa, brother, and friend.    

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Carrie B. Havard.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Gail Havard; children, Nikki (Chad) Cochran, and Mark (Anna) Havard; grandchildren, Taylor (Daniel) Mack, Alexis Cochran, Hiram Havard, Lainey Cochran, and Hudson Havard; sister, Bonnie (Bill) Mims; numerous other relatives and friends. 

The Visitation will be Monday, August 4, 2025 from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. David Newton officiating. A private family graveside will be held in Rocky Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Hiram Havard, Hudson Havard, Chad Cochran, Chad Mims, Bill Mims, and Braden Mims.  

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to the First Church of Lucedale at 5101 Main Street, Lucedale, Mississippi 39452.
