Marilyn Arcola Pardue, age 72, passed away July 1, 2021. She greatly enjoyed many hobbies including shopping, reading, coloring, cooking and working on crossword puzzles. She was a member of Straightway Church. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, mawmaw, sister and friend to so many. Her loving spirit will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Morris Luker and Thelma Viola Moore Luker; sons, Kevin and Keith Pardue; sister, Betty Lord; brothers, Buster Luker, John Luker and brother-in-law, Tommy Lord.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Dean Pardue; daughters, Gloria (Russel) Dixon, Darlene Pardue, Charlene Knight and Regina Pardue; sons, William (Tina) Pardue, James Pardue and Leslie “Lett” (Marie) Pardue; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Joe Luker and David (Mona) Luker; sister, Angela “Sue” Luker; numerous other relatives and friends.
The Visitation for Marilyn Pardue will be Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel beginning at 1:00 PM with Bro. Ed McMillian officiating. Burial will follow in Straightway Cemetery. Pallbearers include Rusty Dixon, Paul McKissick, William Pardue, Lett Pardue, Jeff Beshears, Dale Pardue, Joey Todd and Paul McKissick, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers include Russell Dixon, Jonathan Taylor and Michael Stringfellow.
