Mae Jewel Underwood Domec, age 97, passed away December 15, 2025.
She was a founding member of Bexley Baptist Church, where she faithfully served in many roles over the years, including Sunday School teacher, bookkeeper, prayer warrior, and more. She was the family peacemaker and was completely devoted to her loved ones. She truly exemplified Proverbs 31 and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.”
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Lee “Red” Domec; daughter, Donna Marie Domec Cook; grandsons, Mark Anthony Cook and Michael Robbins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children Allen (Judy) Domec, Carolyn Domec, Beverly (Corrie) Hall, and Lisa (Steve) Rouse; grandchildren, Phyllis Robbins, Jim Cooley, Ryan Brown, Clark Hall, Wyatt Hall, Olivia (Justin) Henderson, Moriah Rouse, Juliana Rouse, Seta (Daniel) Peters, Joshua (Brandi) Krzanak, and Molly (Darrell) Bartee, 20 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren; beloved little dog, Dixie; numerous other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Bexley Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Larry Havard officiating. Burial will follow in Bexley Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jim Cooley, Ryan Brown, Corrie Hall and great grandsons, Mason Robbins, Logan Robbins, and Walker Robbins.
