Mack Evelyn Pierce

Mack Evelyn Pierce, age 81, passed away October 16, 2025. She was a beloved member of Pinewood Baptist Church who will be dearly missed. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Pierce; sisters, Charlene Dixon, Evelyne Havard, Doris Graves, and Linda Lou Peel; father, Joe Sumrall; mother, Ethel Sumrall.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Janet (Joey) Colburn and Malena Havens; grandchildren, Jourdon Colburn, Peyton Colburn, Shannon Havens, JC Havens, Dale Havens, and Amberly Havens; 6 great grandchildren, sister, Betty Jo Parker; son-in-law, Jackie “Goober” Havens; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Visitation will be Monday, October 20, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in funeral home chapel with Bro. Hoyt Clark and Bro. Brandon Dickens officiating. Burial will follow in Pinewood Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Russell Fairley, Troy Parker, Gerald Graves, Danny Ray Havard, Ernest Dixon, and Joel Pierce. Honorary Bearers will be Tony Parker and Joey Dixon.  

The family wants to offer a special thanks to the staff at Sparrow Hills for their compassion and love shown towards their mama during her stay there. They also want to extend a heartfelt thanks to her sister, Betty Jo, for her selfless love and care toward their mother.
