Mace Patrick Dueitt, age 62, passed away May 16, 2025. First and foremost, he loved his family. A distant second was hunting and fishing. Then there was his ’89 Ford Bronco. Fourth and fifth are between poker and Alabama football. All this life lived was to a soundtrack that included Jerry Clower, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Nelly, and others on repeat. Later in life he found enjoyment watching Gunsmoke with his mother-in-law and his youngest grandson. Also, there’s Red Man, we didn’t forget about you. Good boy.
He is preceded in death by his father, Mace Dueitt Jr; sisters, Rebecca Dueitt and Elizabeth Dueitt Turner; brother, Jeffery Vincent.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife and soulmate of 42 years, Gloria Hollie Dueitt; children, William (Laura) Dean, Rhonda (Walter) Davis, DustOn (Hannah) Dueitt, Shee’ Dueitt, Corey (Sydni) Dean, and Cloud Dueitt; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 bonus grandchildren; mother, Annie Ruth Walden; stepmother, Patricia Martin; mother-in-law, Dorothy Weaver; brothers, Michael Dueitt and Timothy (Tonya) Dueitt; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home Leakesville. The Funeral Service will be at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Doug Fairchild officiating. Pallbearers will include, Brian Hollie, Michael Dueitt II, Marcus Davis, Rip Dueitt, Travis Hicks, Hannis Turner, Tate Davis, Corey Dean. Honorary bearers include, Justin Crain, Carlie Davis, and Bryant Lee Hicks.
