Linda Carol Thompson, age 79, passed away May 16, 2026 surrounded by family and friends. She greatly enjoyed her work in the Mobile County School system and retired after 25 years of service. She was a member of New Antioch Full Gospel church, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be greatly missed.   

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert “Bobby” Thompson; parents, Isabelle and Claude McDuffie; brothers, Everette, Eugene, Horace, Danny and Charlie McDuffie; sisters, Thelma Williamson and Mary Havens.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kim (Fran) Thompson; brothers, Jerry (Sandy) McDuffie, Larry McDuffie, and Randy (Deloris) McDuffie; step-grandchildren, Rumana and Riyad Ahad; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The Visitation will be Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Moments Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 22, 2026 beginning at 11:00 AM with Bro. Brian Havens officiating. Burial will follow in New Antioch Full Gospel Cemetery. Pallbearers include Kaleb Havens, Elisha Havens, Jachin Havens, Preston Havens, Tim Thompson, and Riyad Ahad.
