Linda (Sawyer) Paige

Linda Sawyer Paige, age 77, passed away November 18, 2023. She was a 1964 graduate of Pascagoula High School and worked over 20 years for Ingalls Shipbuilding. She was an avid reader and greatly enjoyed many types of crafts and homemaking. She was a loving mother, proud grandmother, dear sister and friend to many.                 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Bettie Sawyer; siblings, Bettie Sawyer Green and John Herbert Sawyer; grandson, Lawrence Damien McVeay.           

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Walter Lawrence McVeay, Monica Lynn (Steve) McVeay Turner, Marla L. (Charles A.) McVeay Brader and Elizabeth Ann Paige; grandchildren, Bryan (Donna) McVeay, JoAnna Clark, Chad (Crystal) McVeay, Rocky (Stephanie) McVeay, Holly Hester (John) Ly, Natalie Brader, Seth Brader, Dylan Moncier and Lauren Moncier; 20 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson; siblings, Jean (Willie) Nored, Sue Rennell and Don (Glenda) Sawyer; numerous other relatives and friends.           

The Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, November 22, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home with Bro. Rocky McVeay officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
