Linda Regina Moody

Linda Regina Henderson Moody, age 79, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was blessed with a large family and cherished every moment spent with them. She had a true gift for growing things and could make just about anything flourish. She also enjoyed a little shopping and valued social time with those she loved, always finding joy in good company and conversation.

A woman of faith, Linda was a devoted member of New Antioch Full Gospel Church, where she found strength, fellowship, and purpose throughout her life.

Her warmth, faith, and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dalton “Dunk” Moody; parents, Ernest and Anna Henderson; siblings, Buck Henderson, Everette Henderson, Jaunita Faurot, and Ernestine Ledbetter; grandson, Jacob Hathorn; son-in-law, Charlie Merritt.   

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Renee (Scott) Mitchell, Reggie (Melinda) Moody, DeAnna Merritt and Sheree (Glen) Havard; fourteen grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.    

The Visitation will be Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at New Antioch Full Gospel Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Heath Havard and Bro. Larry Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Methodist Church. Pallbearers include Jordan Hathorn, Colton Merritt, Garon Merritt, Ethan Merritt, Dalston Moody, Bryce Clanton, Korey Kauffman, David Harris, Gavin Hathorn, and Ryan Holland. Honorary Pallbearers include Ryder Hathorn, Bane Harris, Bryar Hathorn, Tate Holland, Kasen Holland, Avery Holland, Briggs Holland, Hunter Havard.
