Lewis "Chip" Winston Vayda

Lewis Winston Vayda “Chip”, age 75, passed away October 22, 2024.              

He is preceded in death by his son, Lewis Vayda, Jr.; mother, Ressie Mae Gibson Fairley; grandmother, Virginia Inez Fairley Kucik; grandfather, Louis Pete Fairley; brother, Joseph Anthony Vayda.       

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Flora Piazza Vayda; children, Kimberly Ann Eubanks, and Misty Keel (Matt) Mizell; grandchildren, Blake Vayda, Cameron Vayda, Kayle Vayda, Skylar Lockley, Cooper Keel, Rhett Mizell, Clara Hope Mizell, and Annie Mizell; seven great grandchildren; father, Steve Vayda; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Visitation will be Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be Monday, October 28, 2024 beginning at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Warren Slay officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Cooper Keel, Scott Fairley, Joe Vayda, Brooks Vayda, Steve Vayda, and Tyler Mizell. Honorary Pallbearers include Jake Piazza.
