Leonard Levine Hateley, age 44, passed away May 19, 2026. He was a hard worker who took his job serious and was proud of his welding craft. He enjoyed being outdoors and had a deep love for fishing and being on the water. He was full of life and entered a room with purpose and personality. He was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend who will be missed.            

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John Mizell and Charlotte Dickerson; paternal grandparents, Leonard Hateley and Martha Jane Mizell.   

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Erica Paige Hateley; parents, Judy Miller and Monroe (Pam) Hateley; siblings, Jonathan Monroe (Allison Brewer) Hateley, Connie (Kevin) Davis, Brooklyn (Bret) Woods, Brandon (Tiffany) Havard, Brock (Hannah Hanson) Shepheard, Caleb Hateley, Anna Hateley, and Kaylee Hateley; parents-in-law, Ryan Bradley and Carol McInnis; in-laws, Eric Bradley, Cole Bradley, and Anna (Corey) Beasley; lifelong friend and welding partner, Woodie Bolen; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.      

The Visitation will be Friday, May 22, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home.
