Lenora Thompson

Lenora Thompson, age 87, passed away peacefully July 31, 2023 with family and friends by her side. She was a talented artist and enjoyed working with ceramics. She was a charter member of Eden Hills Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas where she was on the kitchen committee and worked with the Bible School program. She recently attended First Baptist Church in Lucedale. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed.             

She is preceded in death by husband, Harold R. Thompson; sons, Terry Thompson and Tommy Thompson; granddaughter, Tammy Thompson; parents, James Vardaman Dunnam and Bertha Lee Walley Harrison; nephew, Carlton Hempstead.   

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jean Colbett; grandchildren, Jesse …, Kelly (Paul) Eubanks, Jennifer (Jason) Hinkel, Harold (Kalynn) Thompson, Jeanne (Jamie) Lanmam; great grandchildren, Michael (Katie) Thompson, Hannah Eubanks, Levi McCartha, Bryce (Melody) Eubanks, Peyton Hinkel, Megan Hinkel, Shelby Alvarez, Brodie Thompson, Morgan Thompson and Jasa Green; great-great grandchild, Kade Thompson; siblings, Melvin Dunnam, Edith Beck, Lamar Dunnam, Pauline (Ray) Shea and Joyce Parnell; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.       

The Graveside Service will be Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Magnolia Cemetery beginning at 10:00 AM.
