Lee “Forty” Lambert, age 79, passed away on February 1, 2025. He was a 1963 graduate of Leakesville High School and was then drafted into the US Army. After his service he was a supervisor at Ingalls Shipbuilding and later worked in real estate, specifically Timber Sales. He also owned and operated Lamberts International Tractor and was on the Greene County Board of Supervisors for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Lambert and Nancy McLeod Lambert; siblings, Aubrey “Gruff” Lambert, John Edsel (Jean) Lambert, Gereldine (Don) Prine, Betty Jean (Bill) Shearon, John Mark Lambert, and Katie Jo (Louis) Shepard.
Left to cherish his memory include his spouse, Mary Sue Lambert; children, Crystal (Dustin) Blodgett, and Rhonda Turner; grandchildren, Lauren and Caroline Blodgett; brother, Tex (Diane) Lambert; Numerous other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home.
