Lee Roy Rogers Jr.

Lee Roy Rogers, Jr., age 64, passed away September 2, 2024. He was an avid outdoorsman who greatly enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and mud riding. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, and dear friend.              

He is preceded in death by his son, Cody Rogers; parents, Lee Roy Rogers, Sr. and Margaret Ann Rogers; siblings, Darline Rust, Jeff M. Rogers, and Wesley Rogers.        

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 43 years, Frances Rogers; children, Susan (Randall) Rutledge-Waltman, and Melisa (Allen Bishop) Woodard; grandchildren, Breanna Woodard, Dylan Woodard, Seth Waltman, Rylee Waltman, Emmy Waltman, Lucas Lee Waltman, Autumn Waltman; one great grandchild arriving in December, Nolan Bennight; siblings, Barbara Boyd, Brenda (Kevin) Brown, and Sara (Buddy) Wilkerson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.       

The Visitation will be Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Crossroads United Pentecostal Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Dillion officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Roy’s Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jim Yates, Michael Rogers, Nathan Rogers, Donald Boyd, Vince Anderson, David Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Allen Bishop and Randall Waltman.
