Laura Keel

Laura Marilyn Eubanks Keel, age 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 23, 2023. She enjoyed vacationing, word searches and most of all spending time with family. She dedicated much of her time caring for children and was Mawmaw to the community. She was a faithful member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church, devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and dear friend.               

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Charlene Reppond Eubanks; parents, Clara Bell Havard Eubanks and Daniel Clayton Eubanks; siblings, Robert Eubanks, Wesley Eubanks, Bernard Eubanks, Donald Ray Eubanks, David Earl Eubanks, Daniel Jerald Eubanks, Gary Eubanks and Micheal Eubanks.      

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, William “Burt” Alexander Keel, Sr., daughter, Kim (Victor) Bussen; son, Darran Scott Reppond; grandchildren, Nic (Amy) Bussen, Kelsea (Chase) Hempstead, Joshua McIntosh, Randall Reppond and Jeremy Reppond; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Charles “Bug” Eubanks and Marshall Eubanks; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.      

The Visitation will be Friday, October 27, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Paul Brashier. Pallbearers include Nic Bussen, Joshua McIntosh, Chase Hempstead, Bryan Eubanks, Lee Eubanks and Matt Shoemaker.  Burial will follow in Rocky Creek Cemetery.
