Laura Ann Harrison

Laura Harrison, age 69, passed away November 5, 2024. She worked in security at Ingalls Shipbuilding early in her career. She was also a Service Writer for Mercedes-Benz in Hollywood, where she gathered many interesting stories regarding numerous celebrities. She was an avid animal lover and attracted strays of all species. She was a great supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Laura was a true giver of any resources she had. Her kind spirit will be deeply missed by her family and friends.      

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lynwood Joseph Clark, Jr. and Mary Danley Sockey Clark.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her spouse, David Harrison; daughter, Melissa Clark; siblings, Nancy Austin, Susan (Mike) Murphy, Linda (JK) Green, and Michael Clary; stepsons, Daniel Harrison and Christopher Harrison; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Visitation will be Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Father Michael officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.     

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her memory.
