Lanie Bell (Ramshur) Berghaus

Lanie Berghaus, age 86, passed away December 20, 2020. She was a member of Little Acorn Assembly of God. She greatly enjoyed doing ceramics and providing for her family. She loved to cook and be a Caregiver for anyone in need. She was a loving mother and Mawmaw Bell who will be greatly missed.       

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred R. Berghaus; parents, John and Lilly Smith Ramshur; daughter, Letha Holifield; brothers, Henry, Percy Lee, JL and Hardy Ramshur.     

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Martha Doran, James Holifield, Mural McDaniel, Timmy Holifield, Tommy Holifield, Freda Kinkle and Marie Holifield Jackson; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.                   

The Visitation for Lanie Berghaus will be Saturday, December 26, 2020, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Sunday, December 27, 2020 beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. Carl Randall and Bro. Wilborn Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery in Wade. Pallbearers include Nicholas Kinkle, Shane Holifield, Zachary Kinkle, ZaDale McDaniel, Voin McDaniel, Gaylen Boudreaux, Matthew Shoemaker and Travis Holifield.
