Lamar Strickland, age 70, along with his son Waylon Strickland, age 43, passed away July 1, 2021.
Mr. Lamar Strickland is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Jessie Lee Ezell Strickland; brother, Bobby Strickland; sisters, Genevia Cameron and May Jewel Pickett.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Belma Jean Kittrell Strickland; son, Hollins (Connie) Strickland; grandchildren, Brittany (Brandon) Dueitt, Holly Strickland, Hollins Strickland, Jr., Jessie Strickland and Dustin Strickland; great grandchildren, Raegin and Graysen Dueitt, Aubry and Jace Preeman; siblings, Vongailee (Mike) Fountain, Earnestine Brown, Jerry Levon (Mesha) Strickland, Junior Strickland and Beatrice Staley; numerous other relatives and friends.
Waylon Strickland will be dearly missed by his mother, Belma Strickland; brother, Hollins (Connie) Strickland; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
The visitation for Lamar and Waylon Strickland will be Saturday, July10,2021 from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home in Leakesville, Mississippi. The Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel beginning at 5:00 PM with Bro. Johnny Coaker officiating. Burial will follow in Freefield Cemetery in Stateline, Mississippi.
